For horse lovers in San Diego, Hidden Fox Farm in El Cajon is the premier equestrian riding stable exclusively serving the Hunter-Jumper community. Nestled among ancient Oaks, Hidden Fox Farm is located on La Cresta Road in El Cajon, just 20 miles East of San Diego, California.

At Hidden Fox Farm, we know that you have entrusted us with the most precious things you possess - your safety, your child's well being, the care of your beloved horse. We work hard to honor that trust by firmly adhering to tried-and-true rules of safety and conduct.

All Skill Levels Welcome
Lesson Programs
Lessons for English Riding and Hunter Seat Equitation are offered for riders of all ages and designed for beginner through intermediate riders who do not own or lease a horse. We have safe, experienced lesson horses and ponies available for novice and experienced riders.

The emphasis of this program is to build a solid foundation of basic horsemanship skills. Students learn stable management, control of the horse and correct riding form, both on the flat and over fences.

For You And Your Horse
Training Programs
Designed for those who own a horse and board it here at Hidden Fox Farm, training programs help you and your horse become an effective team.
We offer Partial and Full Training programs to fit you and your horse's needs and your budget. Training consists of three to six sessions of work per week which may be any of the following: schooling of the horse, longeing, or lessons for you on your horse. Includes turn-outs on days off, clipping and mane pulling, blanketing, and dispensing of any medications and vitamins provided by the owner.

Horse Boarding
We board horses that are in one of our programs. We feed alfalfa hay, Bermuda grass, or pellets, up to four flakes in three feedings daily. Barn stalls and corrals are cleaned daily. Services included in board are fly masks on & off, and scheduling of veterinary and farrier services. Extra services are available as desired.

In addition to 24’ x 24’ and 24’ x 48’ pipe corrals currently available, we offer 12' x 16' Box Stalls.

Great Instructors with a focus on Safety! Great Friends: A warm and friendly atmosphere!
Owner Katy Boswell and instructors Morgan Gammon and Kathi Young offer their many years of riding and teaching experience to serve you. Katy brings more than forty years of experience in the instruction of Hunter Seat Equitation. Safe and well-rounded horsemanship is always emphasized in our teaching.

Riding Lessons for English and Hunter Seat Equitation are offered for riders of all ages, from beginners to show competitors. There are quality lesson horses and ponies available for novice and experienced riders.
